Kim has over 13 years’ experience in asbestos, hazardous materials, environmental and contaminated land management and helps manage the diverse team of consultants at EDP.


Kim’s skill set enables her to service a broad range of clients across government and private sectors, specialising in asbestos and hazardous materials surveys and hygiene, asbestos in soil risk assessments, waste classifications, preliminary and detailed site investigations, groundwater investigations, acid sulfate soils, PFAS investigations, remediation, validation and ongoing site management. 


Kim also has many years’ experience managing and working within NATA accredited laboratories as an asbestos fibre counter/identifier and signatory. Kim established EDP’s NATA accredited asbestos air monitoring and fibre counting laboratory and is responsible for the implementation, accreditation, management and training of staff in laboratory quality management systems for compliance with NATA and ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
